Unlike previous generations that relied on a modified Miyota 9015 with glued decorative plates, this movement is built from the ground up to support the asymmetrical complication layout of the 5712. It features a functioning micro-rotor system, allowing the entire caliber to remain exceptionally thin. The balance wheel operates at the correct 21,600 vibrations per hour, mimicking the low-beat cadence of the genuine Gyromax balance. All complications, including the power reserve indicator and moonphase, are mechanically driven by the gear train without faux linkages.
